Cowboys, Snakes, Studio, & a New Year!

Cowboys, snakes, the studio, hillbillies, and chickens describe some of our last year. The Double Wide Church Video was an ADVENTURE in itself.  It was my first acting debut, but I did survive with only a cracked but now fixed violin! (Thanks Williams Violin Shop :-)), and everyone escaped the clutches of the snake and Swamp People! I was so grateful to all the fans from across the country that helped us out by being "hillbillies" and meeting them was UNFORGETTABLE!!! Also, thanks to you all for watching and sharing the video on facebook, youtube, and emails.  The DWC SHARE-A-THON is going to be ending at the end of this month, but you still have time to participate. After the Cowboy Church... Howdy Ya'll! :-)
We topped off 2 final concerts of the year at a cowboy church, (as you can see by the pics) and a kentucky new years bash at a church. Meeting people different from you allow you learn from the them and learn more about yourself.  The closer I come to know people, the more I realize what we have in common with them!  It was our first time to play on New Years, and hopefully not our last!!!!!  Not bursting bottlerockets and cannons in the air with a raging fire like normal was a little different, but praying into the New Year and seeking a better year was waaaayy worth missing that!!!
Guess who's singing in the studio!  (Hint: banjo)
Studio time has really taken up a lot of our time, but we can't wait to let out what's gonna come out of our NEW CD!  Some songs that we wrote mixed in with little attitude and sweetness compiles our cd.  A cool beat, a little too much banjo(just kidding Nicole), and our thoughts were put together to make it up.
Now for 2012, it has come so quickly! It seems like life is going so fast for me, but so far I've had a good start.  A new year represents a new day.  We can start over each day wanting to have a better one than we had a day before.  God forgiving me for what I did yesterday allows me to live TODAY with a NEW attitude and guiltless from what I did the day before.  So start fresh with me today, tomorrow, the next day, etc... striving to be more loving towards God and others.  Jeremiah 29:11 says, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end."
